After long research, we decided as a group to do a Roadtrip to the Pico do Arieiro. We woke up early in the morning so we can watch and enjoy the sunrise at the Pico do Arieiro Viewpoint. The Pico do Areeiro Viewpoint, located at 1818 meters, provides a fantastic view of the central mountains of Madeira Island. Pico do Areeiro Viewpoint is located at the second-highest point on Madeira Island, at 1,818 meters above sea level.
From this viewpoint, there is an excellent panoramic view of the central mountains of Madeira Island. This is also the starting point for one of the most spectacular trails to the archipelago’s highest point, Pico Ruivo, at 1,862 meters.
At the Viewpoint, we had an amazing view over the Island. We were in general very lucky with the weather conditions. Basically, we had a totally blue sky and it was sunny.
After it, we drove around the Island and went to Santana to watch the triangle houses and to see other viewpoints. It was an amazing experience I will never forget in my life. I also did many beautiful pictures that I collected later for my album.
The Roadtrip was very nice in general because we saw a lot of different places on the island in one day and had beautiful weather as well. I will never forget this amazing experience.
